Propeller Installation & Maintaince

 Damaged or worn propellers can create a number of issues when operating your boat.

Chipped or unbalanced propellers reduce fuel efficiency and can increase vibrations. This can lead to Engine strain and problems with maneuvering the boat when docking, steering at higher speeds and general operation.

At Octo Dive we strive to address these problems with little to no impact on your vessel. The majority can be replaced without the need for Haul out by our experienced and professional divers.

Our process is simple:

1. We inspect the existing propeller, shaft and surrounding area

2. We removed the old propeller and order a new one for you, standard fit can often be purchase ahead of removal

3. We install the new propeller and make good any other issues surrounding the propeller, usually within just a couple of hours

4. We re-inspect the propeller after its first use, to ensure it is balanced, secure and there are no other issues.
